Unable to send or receive photo's when texting.

I have an LG G3

I am able to send & receive text, send & receive photos on facebook, whats app & email. Data working but not able to send or receive SMS photo's on my text's

@alanshaw, another community member had the same problem with their LG G5.  Here is a link to the APN settings for the LG G5 that got MMS (ie. picture messages) working. 

Perhaps @J3maclea will read this post and provide further insight to assist you.

Once a photo is added, the message ceases to be an SMS message and becomes MMS.  This is why text messages continue to work for you.  The reason for you being able to receive photos in Facebook happens to be because Facebook is not using the MMS protocol, but rather a standard internet connection.

The likely culprit as explored by others here is likely an APN setting issue.

You should set up MMS message for Android OS to receive pictures video text.

1. Tap Apps. Tap Settings. Tap More Settings or Mobile Data or Mobile Networks. Tap Access Point names.
2. Tap More or Menu. Tap Save.
3. Tap the Home Button to return to your home screen.
