Did this end up working for you? I tried this previously but it never worked cause you needed a physical SIM. Not sure if it works now.

YES, US iPhone is compatible with PM network, even those newer eSIM only models. Many subscribers are using them on PM network 

Some people were advised to use a physical SIM, but the issue was not related to the iPhone being a U.S. model. Instead, those cases were caused by activation problems.

So, you can use your US iPhone here
