Lost my phone, put it in "lost/stolen" status a couple of days ago. Already had a new PM sim, so my phone arrived today and I tried to change the sim.
Won't work at all, just keeps saying "generic error."
What does a person do here?

I got it to work by going in to incognito mode, switching to french and repeatedly plugging the sim number into the box.

Is your new SIM unused? Dumb question I'm sure (sorry!) but just checking as a SIM that was used in a new-expired plan won't work.
If the above is ok then I would suggest you contact a moderator by clicking here and providing your email address, phone number and telling them what happened and the error message.
