Went thru the process, said something is wrong, did not activate the account but it did charge my credit card. Now it is saying sim card is invalid when I try to set it up again.

OK, thanks. I'll wait for a while to see if the moderators can get back to me in a few hours today to get things fixed. Otherwise I will take your advice and get it done by early evening to make sure I get her's today.

Hello. So I found out that online set up can be comprimised if you don't do a few things first....
I had an expired phone plan with Bell when I decided to start using Public Mobile. So I go to Walmart and get my public mobile sim card...I already had a Samsung Phone with a Bell SimCard.....and I wanted to keep my same number....but before activing my Public Mobile SIM....I reached out to Bell first...I chat message them...it's much quicker...in any case, I had just said I wanted to double check that I can transfer my number and that I had planned on switching to Public Mobile...In order to use a different SIM card in my Samsung...Bell had to email me a code....also, had to do something magically on their end for my number to be transferable....THEN once I had this information...
I followed the Public Mobile instructions for set up....put the Public Mobile SIM in and turned on my phone...entered the "code" that Bell had e-mailed me to be able to use my phone....and voila within the hour my phone was working and sounds clearer than Bell!

You are welcome @GARB1962 go ahead and activate your wifes phone. Then contact the moderators explained what happened and ask the to apply it for you. You have until 11.59pm est today to activate in order to qualify.

Moderator response is pretty quick nowadays. Keep an eye on your email or private messages inbox.

Sounds like your port is stuck or still in progress.The Moderators are awesome and will correct your issue and make sure you get the promo offered. The sooner you start a ticket the sooner they can start helping you.

I guess from what I read on this website I can expect to miss the cut off for the $5/$10 for 8 months promotion that ends today with the moderator response often taking up to a day or more.
