I need mediator help to transfer an old number from a telus account to this Public Mobile account. How do I do that?

After input the required information like previous account number, phone number, PM SIM number, etc., I received a SMS text for an authentication code shortly. I share this code in my private message to the Moderator team and that's it. The whole process takes less than 30 minutes. I am very satisfied so far for PM's service.

As I said, those hours are out-of-date. This was double checked after the descepency that was noticed between SIMon and the help pages. The new hours are now 6am to 10pm, 7 days a week. The hours were very recently adjusted and the help articles and SIMon have not yet been updated. The infromation that you were given is simply a copy and paste that does not reflect the current information. There is still a small moderator prescense after 10pm EST, but customers might not receive responses from them after 10pm or before 6am.

Please be advised that these hours our out-of-date. Those haven't been the hours for a considerable time.
While the extended 8am to midigntt and 8am to 10pm hours are also no long current either, the official modeartor hours are now 6am until 10pm (Eastern time) every day of the week. SIMon and Get Help should be updated soon.

Can you not port your number from Telus to Public? Oh wait...is this an inactive number?

If you wish to transfer an existing number from TELUS or Koodo (including formerly PC Mobile), you will need to first complete your activation with a new number, then reach out to our Moderator team in order to transfer your existing number to Public Mobile.
