Transfer e-sim to another phone.

Is it possible to transfer esim from an iPhone 11 to iPhone 13? I transferred everything to the new phone (email, pictures, chat) but the only problem is that my current phone number does not work on the new phone. I do get a message that says « the sim in my old phone does not support esim transfer. Contact Public Mobile for assistance » I saw in one of the questions in the community that you have to get a new esim. If I get a new esim, will my current phone number work on the iphone13?

What you have to do is to download the Public Mobile app to your 13 and purchase the esim. This will keep your phone number.

If you had esim already it should not charge you. If it does just request it back later.
