Is it common when you move to PM not to get texts straight away? I changed over my line and my wife’s yesterday assume all was fine as I was sending her messages but that was iMessage and she realized she wasn’t getting texts from her boss. She turned off her phone and seemed to then work. Just wondering if this is a common issue as I plan to refer friends to Pm and wanted to check the ins and outs

no, I don't think it's a common problem. usually the users device needs troubleshooting. resetting the network settings and restarting the phone removes any conflicting information stored from other sim cards and a fresh start on the new network
1. From the home screen navigate to Settings>General>Reset
2. Tap Reset Network Settings
If prompted enter your passcode
3. Tap Reset Network Settings
4. Restart your phone

If the phone# was ported then it can take a few hours to be completed.

@Witcher ports can take up to 3 hours to complete. Also, if her boss was sending from an Android phone then sms and mms would have had to be enabled on her phone to get it. Welcome to PM . Stay safe.
