Switching Plans

I'm currently on a $40 4G 15GB plan. I am also under the old rewards program and getting -$5 at each renewal. When I click "change plans" they show a $39 4G plan with 20GB of data. A little cheaper and more data. My question is, what's the catch? Will I be switched to the new rewards points and lose my -$5 each month if I change plan? Thanks.

Sometime the offer are only valid for new activation. Otherwise, generally there are no hidden things. Some plan have on "reduced rate" dare after the cap is reached, some plans do. i guess the above plan has no such reduced-rate data after 20G is reached.

Hello @standacaddy , No catch! You won't lose any of your current legacy rewards or add-ons if you change your plan, with one exception, data add-ons purchased after May 8, 2023. Be sure to change the plan effective with the next billing cycle (not with immediate effect).

Hope this helps.

@standacaddy  there’s no catch you will keep your rewards the same there tied to your account not your plan . I can confirm this I just switched plans and kept my old rewards have a peek

Adding just be sure to change plan for next renewal and not immediately or you lose money on your current cycle
