@Rob5 Phones are linked to accounts and there's no need to tell Public.

@Rob5 What do you mean? If you already have a Public Mobile account and you bought a new phone, just take the Public Mobile sim card from the old phone and insert it to the new phone, as already suggested above. You may need to reboot or turn your phone off and back on.
OR.........
If you want to transfer your old number to Public Mobile, then get a Public Mobile sim card. The sim card will come in a small brochure on how to activate your sim card. Follow those steps. Your previous account must be active in order for the number transfer to go through. Once the transfer is complete, it will be automatically deactivated from your previous service provider.
Now, which one did you mean?

Really simple.
If new phone is compatible with PM network and unlocked. Simply take sim out of old phone and put in the new one. Done!
