Survey Questions

So husband received a link to complete a survey re. Rewards.  However, he didn't want to give them his age, said prefer not to say, and it closed the survey immediately. 

Was this nothing more than data mining of demographic particulars?  Like, what questions did the survey actually ask?  Husband and I both have accounts, but only he got a survey.  So I'm left wondering what they are actually surveying.  I think they got a pretty good guess what most of us think about Rewards lol

it is not unusual survey might ask for age or other "personal" questions.  If you don't like it, just like what your husband did, close it and move on.  The survey is just voluntarily , not mandatory, so, businesses are allow to put those questions into it
