if you can't receive calls, and still have data, i've heard you can use fongo.com or any app in generally does calling nowadays as well

Try messaging a moderator. If this was a recent port of a number from another provider things maybe still in progress (with the switch over).

oh wow! my phone turned itself to 2G! (just downloaded a scheduler app, must have defaulted to something.
protip: must be LTE to work.

I'm in toronto, no service for me.. this is the second day i'm on the plan though.. anyone have any ideas? I already rebooted, shutdown and reinserted the sim card multiple times... strange.. can't call or connect to data.

Same here. Normally my phone says I'm connected to Public Mobile but today it says Telus and I cannot access data or send texts.
*EDIT* Disregard my comment, somehow my APN setting for Public Mobile was missing. Re-added and I'm back online.
