Stuck in Activating SIM

I am transferring a landline to PM. All my cells are with PM.

Halfway activating the SIM, EverSafe ID wants to send a verification code to the landline I am transferring.

I tried using different devices, Android cell phone Public Mobile App and a laptop, both stuck at the same place.

"We’ve noticed you have an active Public Mobile service and would like to confirm your full access.
A 6 digit code associated with your EverSafe ID will be sent to phone number . We will need you to confirm this number."

I continued to next page:

"You’re logging in from an unknown device
To confirm it's you, enter the 6-digit code sent to *******498"

*******498 is a landline that cant receive the verification code.

Please help!

Thanks so much.

Public Mobile CS_Agents are awesome. I have been approached by 2 agents and sounds the porting request was sent to my current Provider and is waiting for their approval.

Looks like with your prompt and thorough guidance, we have done everything on my side for this step.

I couldn't have get here without your help.

@askquestions - Home phone's via Landline cable have to be processed differently like this:

NOTE: Please use the "Landline Phone Number Transfer" for more details.

And yes, since landlines have no IMEI #'s 0 would be good.

Only Wireless enabled devices like a Phone (Flip or Smart) and tablets with cellular, with watches with cellular data and those hotspot boxes include IMEI numbers.

Thanks so much, Fixin1, for the details.

This is askquestions.

I finally submitted a ticket with some flaw as it asks me to provide IMIE number. I am not at my landline location and put down a "0" to imply "N/A" when that box accepts only numbers. 

I will try to update the ticket, if possible first thing tomorrow morning when I am back to the office and if I can identify its IMIE number.

@askquestions - Landline ports take about 1 week, incoming & outgoing calls will work on your landline while outgoing sms and outgoing calls will work.
