Sim card setup

I have just purchased a Public Mobile sim card at my local convenience store, along with $30.00's in prepaid minutes. I than created an account and picked a plan that I'd be using. When asked for payment it only allows me to use a credit card as payment options, which I am not using hence the prepaid voucher. I only went to public mobile because a friend referred me and if a credit card is the only payment option than I'd like a refund.

@Gramco is not advertised,  but you can indeed activate an account using vouchers. You cannot do it yourself however, you'd need help from a Public Mobile agent to do it for you.

Since it's not commonly done, the agent themselves might not know that you can activate with a voucher and not just credit cards,  so they might say no. So you have to let them know that they can and insist to get a manager if they say no.

PM does not allow using voucher for activation.  The voucher can only be used for plan renewal or add-on purchase after the account is activated

Sorry, PM is unable to refund the voucher and the sim card as well.   You  didn't buy those from PM, you purchased from the convivence store, so you need to check with them about their refund policy.  But from what we understand, no store would provide refund to voucher

I suggest you to get a Prepaid credit card from store.  You can then use the prepaid credit card to activate new account, and then use the voucher for renewal
