Why won’t the app for public mobile let me sign in but I can’t sign in on my boyfriends account on his app but can’t sign in on my app for my account

I am assuming that you both have the PM app in each of your phone and each account is on each phone.

Are you having issue with the 2FA code to login to each of your account?

try uninstall PM app, reboot phone and reinstall 

if same, try signin My Account using a browser

First of all clear you cashe then power down your phone and re-start. Also delete the PM app from your phone and re- install and try again making sure you follow the 2FA .
