Sometimes my phone will think I am in the US and will stop working for me, I cant receive or make calls since I don't have an add on. although i am not in the US.

How can I fix it?

I think it might be because i have dual sims, I have one from Israel since I get mobile data much cheaper there.

I will update if it helped

Disabling data roaming will not help with the inability to make or receive phone calls because of accident network swtiching, nor will it prevent you from connecting to U.S. networks.  The settings are unrelated to what you've been asking about.  The only way you're going to achieve this is through manual network selection.

  1. Swipe Down On Home Screen
  2. Settings (gear at upper right usually)
  3. Mobile networks
  4. Make sure "Data Roaming" is disabled

To stop it from happening again.

  1. Network operators
  2. check around here if there is a way to disable automatic networks.

These instructions are under the assumption you are on android maybe you OP you can tell us what phone?

Hi @osher7788

Perhaps also try disabling "roaming" on your device?   May or may not work...  let us know.

See if you can manually select Public Mobile network when that happens.
