Sending a message

Just returned from uk and I can’t send messages to some of my friends

Is yours an iPhone or Android?

Make sure you remove the overseas travel sim card.  Disable if it is an eSIM

Check VPN screen and delete them

Then Reset network settings

Did you place your PM SIM card back in the phone or did you select your PM eSIM as primary and reboot? If you used an overseas eSIM or SIM card in your phone, you may need to into your settings and reset your Network Settings and then reboot.
