Hey there, I know this isn't specifically a question related to Public Mobile Service, and more hardware related, but does anyone know how to send a text message by a schedule. What I mean by that is I would like to send a text message be sent at a specific time automatically.

I have to admit, that's sort of the thing I was planning. Not calling in sick though, but rather sending a text in the middle of a meeting (not work related) that I want to ditch out of. LOL

@WoozyPolarBear, assuming you are using the default SMS app by Google, to send by schedule, you just press on the "Send" icon longer until you see the calendar where you can schedule a later send time and then put in the date and time of when you want to send out the text. But remember that you need to be connected to the network either via wifi or Public Mobile at all time until the SMS is sent at your designated time. If you ever break the network connection, the scheduled sent might not work properly.

Hi,
You're right, that's not a Public Mobile issue, it's a hardware question.
You don't mention what kind of phone you have.
iPhone has the Apple Shortcuts app, which will allow you to schedule sending a text message. I've used this.
Android has IFTTT (maybe other apps too) which will automate text messaging. I've never used this on an Android device.
As that covers most phones, this should get you to the manual start page of whichever software you choose.

Great question @WoozyPolarBear
On Android, tap the "+" button to the left of the native messaging app (if Samsung). It lets you schedule time to send SMS.
If others, I got nothing.
