I would contact public mobile about it maybe they can transfer it over

@papaya  As others have mentioned purchase a new PM sim card then access your selfserve account and choose the change sim card option. Enter the new sim card number and you are good to go. Your PM phone number does not get affected and remains the same.

Buy new SIM, set it up on PM account, your number stays the same.

You can buy one from authorized Public Mobile retailer or from Public Mobile site for $10. Some sellers on Amazon also sell.
