Roaming data in US

I have US/CAN/MEX data plan, originally base in Canada. While I was in US this morning, Public sent me a message said, that turn on roaming data.

Just would like to know, is it a right way to use my data plan or I would be charged about extra roaming data while I am in US.

Thanks!

@lxh You need to turn data roaming ON to use data in the US or Mex. It doesn't cost any extra, no hidden fees. You are roaming away from Canada so it needs to be on. You can leave it on all the time even back home, it doesn't affect anything.

@lxh

That is one thing good about the USA/Canada/Mexico plans on PM. There are no surprise extra charges for roaming in USA or Mexico.

If you are experiencing network connection issues. Manual connect to AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon network while in the USA.

Hey @lxh

That text message is standard no matter what plan you have. If you have that CAN US MEX plan, you're good to go. It's included!! Just hope you have a phone that works in the US while you're there!
