Reuse My Previous eSIM After New Purchase

ruining
Great Neighbour / Super Voisin

I am writing to request your help with an eSIM activation issue on my account.

Here is the situation: My previous eSIM was deactivated/suspended within the 90-day window. I have the IMEI number of my device. Instead of reusing my original eSIM, I made the mistake of purchasing a new SIM card while logged into my old account, and I have already completed the payment for this new SIM.

As a result, I am now unable to find any option in my account to re-activate or re-use my original eSIM. The account interface seems to be locked into the new SIM purchase flow, and I cannot go back to resume my previous eSIM.

Could you please assist me in one of the following ways:

1. Cancel or reverse the new SIM purchase so that I can resume using my original eSIM on my account, or
2. Provide me with a way to re-activate my previous eSIM directly.

Thanks for clarification.  Don't worry.  You will not lose your original number.

Since you purchased a new eSIM while login into your PM account, the new eSIM has been installed on your phone.  Your old eSIM is inactive.  Just need to choose the new installed eSIM as your primary.  (Note: you don't even need to delete your old PM esIM right now). The new eSIM will have your old number on it.

Once new sim purchased, old sim no longer useful

You need to delete or disable the old esim or the old one will interface the new one

If you are concerned, disable the old esim , and enable the new eSIM, set the new eSIM to Primary.  Then reboot phone and Reset Network Settings

My account was suspended less than 90 days, so I know my original number is not lost.

To answer your question:

· I am not trying to activate an eSIM on a new phone.
· I am not simply trying to reactivate my original account either (though that is what I want in the end).

Here is what actually happened:
I made a mistake. While logged into my original account, I purchased and paid for a new eSIM. However, I have not yet chosen a new phone number – I still want to keep my original number.

So now I am stuck: I have a newly purchased eSIM, but I do not want to lose my original number. I am afraid that if I delete the old eSIM and activate the new one, I might end up with a different number.

Could you please advise how I can keep my original number while using (or canceling) this new eSIM?

Thank you.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. I understand that eSIM is one-time use and that buying a new eSIM is fine if the old one was deleted.

However, I want to make it very clear: I absolutely need to keep my original phone number. It is very important to me.

I am logged into my original account, and I have already purchased a new eSIM on that same account. But I am worried about deleting the old eSIM before I am 100% sure that my original number will stay with me.

Is there a safe, step‑by‑step way to delete the old eSIM and enable the new eSIM without losing my original phone number?

Thank you for your patience.

ESIM is one time use.  Buying a new eSIM I'd correct if your old one was deleted.  But if account was just suspended within the 90 days window, you don't need a new eSIM, you just need to login to your My Account and pay to resume service

If you login to the same My Account and bought a new eSIM, it is perfectly OK too.  Just delete the old esim and enable the new eSIM

But if you are lost, or you used a new email and activate a new account, then you will need to ask PM to sort it out

It looks like that your account was suspended less than 90 days.  If more than 90 days, your account is permanently closed and number is lost.

Are you trying to activate the eSIM on a new phone?  Or trying to reactivate your account?
