Really need some help please!!!

I lost my phone, I can't access my account to order a new sim card and update my payment info... I don't understand all the methods used on this service, sorry. But I really need help. My phone number has been deactivated /not in service, but how can I get access now? Please help... I would like to keep my old number, and I am just really not sure what to do... 😭😭🔃💔🙏

If PM indicates that they can’t locate your number…this means that you lost your number and it has been returned to the carrier you got the number from. They will put it on pause for another 90 days and it will be up for grabs after that.

If your number was from Telus or Koodo or PM…there is a very slim chance you might get it back without waiting. So click on the Chat icon and type in Submit a Ticket.

If it is from other carriers then it is gone and you will need to contact that carrier.

Thank you for replying. I did call and put in my number, but it said having trouble finding that number. 😭 I just don't know if it was over 90 days. oh my.

If you're able to use a friends cell, dial 1-855-478-2542...then when prompted, you add your own cell number to hear current plan status. It'll let you know when your next regular plan renewal will occur or when last renewal failed. If it's been SUSPENDED for longer than 90 days...that account is irretrievably deactivated, you need a new sim to start a new account using a different email address.

@LostmyiPhone  did you try to send the code to your email?

If it doesnt work, you could try calling 1855 4public from another phone to hear the status and make a payment if you have a registered credit card on file already.

Did you buy a new phone yet? You can buy a new SIM card from Amazon for $4.99+

Or from a Telus/Koodo shop if they sell them for $10.

Or once you get a new phone, if you want to use eSIM,  just download the Public Mobile app to your new phone and purchase an eSIM. You will keep your same plan and phone number.

They usually respond within 30 minutes to 1 hour so watch your inbox or envelope ✉️ upper right for their response and respond to them with the answers to their questions.

@LostmyiPhone , you can use a browser and the my account link to login.  For the 2FA code, use the resend option and select email option.  You can update the SIM card in the profile tab in the online account.  If you have an Amazon account, you con order using this link for much faster shipping.
