PM does not send name info. It is just the receiver using some kind of number-name lookup service and somehow matches your number with the name "British Columbia" (or the service was able to find the name so just display the location of the number"
So, this is something on the receiver end, as PM does not send your name over, you have to ask your friend to add your number and name to his contact list and then they will see your name
