I'm new to public. Been with for almost a month. Can't seem to get the rcs chat feature to work. Everything that has to be on is on. Keeps saying verifying phone number. It's been doing that since I switched to public. Tried everything the others have suggested but nothing works

you can go to the app list on Settings and choose Google Message and uninstall

How do you uninstall Google Messenger?

Thanks. I did an update but that didn't fix it. I just Uninstalled and reinstalled google messenger and I have it back. Thanks for the help.

make sure OS is updated.  Reset networks settings and try again. If it fails, uninstall the Google Message and reboot and reinstall

I have google messages. For android. It's on. Just keeps saying verifying phone number. I've turned it off and on. Help says have to hit retry. But there isn't a button to do that

iphone or Android?

if android, just download Google Message and enable RCS on the settings menu
