Just got a new cellphone it says to scan the QR CODE where is the code I'm not  good at technically l'm  dumb  Thank You

yes, esim will work

but for Samsung new phone, you need to borrow a sim card from a friend to setup the phone first.  It is not something that Samsung needs it , not a problem with Public Mobile.  So, get a physical sim from friend, setup the phone with Google and Samsung.  

Then download Public Mobile ap on the new phone and login.  Then go to Account -> Purchase Sim card and choose eSIM and buy and install

if your last eSIM was bought 15+ days ago, it should be free

do you need eSIM?

just download PM app on the new phone, login and go to Account -> Purchase sim card and buy eSIM
