Port Single Number from Telus Account with Multiple Numbers

We have 4 cell phones on a single account with Telus and would like to port a single, specific number from Telus over to PM.  I'm new to the game and a little uneasy with all the porting issues that I've been reading on the forums.  Just looking for confirmation that people have successfully ported a single number from a Telus account containing multiple numbers over to PM.  Also, looking at screen shots showing the porting process, am I correct in assuming that the 'Check if your phone number is eligible' screen will be the number that is ported from a single  account with multiple phones?  Thanks very much for any help!

As long as you are the authorized user I don't see a problem. Maybe I'm misunderstanding, what is the authorized number?

Im looking to port over one number from an existing telus account that isnt the authorised number on the account. How do you do that

When you ported over one number from an existing account how did you get the number ported over when the number to port isnt the authorised number on the account

I just love you haha
Seriously, you took the time to ask all relevant questions before attempting the port. You are awesome.

Thanks for the advice everyone!  Two of 4 Telus numbers were successfully ported over this past weekend, no issues whatsoever!

Yes I've done it in the past (not specifically to PM).  I used to have an account with 2 numbers and my brother wanted to switch to another carrier.  He ported out without any issue affecting the other account.

I only ported one number over from Koodo (Telus)

Here are some steps you should follow:

Pick a temporary number first so you're activated then port your number over later
Use a different e-mail adress than the one associated with your Telus/Koodo account

Use the exact account number (no dashes)

Use the full name as its stated in your account

Click the I am authroized button on the bottom of a page

Please dont take my word for it though, even though it worked for me. Im sure other people will be more helpful
