@LuciaI Don't make it easy for others to port out your number by posting personal information on public forums and also have strong passwords and login credentials.
You can also use a made up name in your account profile to make it more difficult for others to port out your number,
Hopefully PM will also make the porting process more secure for customers shortly.

@LuciaI if you would like some security I suggest following these instructions
- create an email strictly for public mobile
- change your name and address on your self serve account
- don't use your personal email password for the pm website
- don't use a password manager(chrome, safari, etc. browsers
- don't use your cellphone number as a 2fa for banks, PayPal etc

@LuciaI Currently, Public Mobile doesn't have any number port out protection.
