Pls. Help Moderators Anyone!

Hi Guys,

 

It's been over 24-hours since I tried to do a port in from Freedom.  The promotion ends today and nobody has gotten back to me.

 

I tried for over an hour to port in, this was two days ago.  I still setup my account as per another post I chose 90-days / unlimited prov. talk / unlimited intl. text / 6GB but I'm waiting to do a port.  I've sent all information to the moderators and nobody gets back to me with some assistance.

 

I have my freedom phone that still works, that's not the issue, I just didn't realize it would take so long for someone to assist me or at least tell me that you'll get back to me and make this work even if the promotion expires, anything would help.

 

All pertinent account information was sent to @Shazia_K but she may be overwhelmed with requests.

I know the feeling. Hang in there - once they fix it you'll be OK! They are overwhelmed right now - I guess if the system was more stable there wouldn't be a need for excessive moderator intervention. Just make sure to send them your account number/SIM/phone number and they'll fix it. @Shazia_K fixed my issue relatively quickly once she had the case in front of her.

The customer service is bad. I sent a PM for the same "something went wrong" issue. Nothing is working. A day with zero response is unacceptable.

Thanks and I hear you, I understand that they prioritize based on severity, I'm ok with letting someone else go ahead, my only issue is that  considering I'm not the only one having this issue they could at least put together a canned response stating that they're super busy with x,y,z and for people not to worry that they will get to them, it may be past the promo date but they'll validate the fact that they're waiting that's all.

 

Communication is the key to good customer service, I'm not saying the customer service is  bad, I'm just saying that maybe they don't have experience dealing with this sort of exodus from FM.

 

Thank you for your response I will wait patiently and hope they respond soon, my current phone still works so that's not the issue.

1 - The mods will get to you.  They are prioritizing people with no service at all right now, so it might be a bit still. They've been pretty understanding in the past about letting people get in on promos when they weren't able to sign up due to stupid issues with the stupid broken activation portal, so you should be fine even if they don't get to you till after the promo ends.
2 - No need to tag multiple mods in a post.  All mods see whenever any mod is tagged.

Hi your port is stuck in the middle. Let moderators assist you. Since you already private message the mods with all your info all you can do is just wait. Please be patient as moderators are busy helping big pool of Freedom Mobile customers. Good luck.
