Plan promotion

Hello I have been on the $40 per month plan 4.5gb per month. It was a great deal years ago but is no longer with the competition now. Are there better deals on the 4g network so I don't leave public mobile.

@Stavrosautobody you said it is not as good a deal now compared to the competition? Not too many in the competition can get your bill down 20, 30 or even 100 percent lower with rewards.

Zoomer is one I looked at that is fairly similar but its on contract and its not prepaid. They are from BC and run on Rogers towers.

@gblackma @Stavrosautobody my brother in law is with Telus and we were discussing unlimited internet. He said when he goes over his 10GB they throttle it so bad that he can hardley open an email. Its all smoke and mirrors to get you tonpay ridiculous contracts over 2 years.

@Stavrosautobody unless you're a heavy on watching 1080p HD videos on your device, I suggest switching to $50/8.5gb plan if you need more data. you won't notice a difference with web browsing, social media etc.

as good as that promo sounds from Telus. I'm pretty sure that after the first year, they'll start raising the price $5/year

@Naepalm ask him to do a speedtest for us when he runs out of data please and thank you

welcome back good sir 🤜

@Stavrosautobody  all of the current plans are 4g LTE throttled to 3mbts. Since they have gotten rid of all the unthrottled plans . I don't see them adding a new one. Telus has an 20gig plan with unlimited internet tjrottled to 512 bytes wjen done for $75. Stay safe.

All customers have access to both the HSPA and LTE networks. However, all current plans only offer LTE speeds of 3Mbps.
