Plan got changed without permission

Wondering if this has ever happened to any of you! 

 

Last Wed April 3rd, I tried to make a phone call on my way home, I got an error message that my plan doesn't have voice feature. I login my account as soon as I got home and found out my initial 90 day plan of unlimited call text, 6G data for changed to 150G 3G data. Additionally I got charged on my auto pay credit card. I paid $135 for a 90 day plan in March, now I got charged another $105 on Wed.

 

I immediately contacted MOD after talking to my credit card company. The MOD kept telling me that PM did not charge me extra until I sent her a screenshot of my credit card statement.

 

This takes way too long. I got charged $240 in one month and I can't get it fixed? Anyone has heard it experienced this before?

You should check to make sure you do not have a virus on your computer. If you do someone could be messing around with your private information without you knowing.

I contacted my credit card company immediately, they suggested me to contact PM first.

 

It has been almost a week, I verified my account three times, and sent in credit card statement twice. Today Mod finally understood the whole situation and said a ticket has been submitted.

 

I've been using auto pay for many bills, I've never encountered anything like this. I don't want to charge back the credit card to possibly mess up my account. But a week waiting just to get a "ticket submitted" response is ridiculous!

Only moderators can help with this. If they don't fix within reasonable time, you can file CCTS complaint or do credit card chargeback, but only if you are sure. If you do chargeback by mistake, it can screw up the account that the card paid for.

@kamja, Wow that should not have happened. Hopefully the mods will be able to correct the discrepancy. Please keep us updated.

@kamja  That doesn't sound right. It does take a while to have a full discussion with the mods but in the end everything will work out just be patient. I have on rare occasions heard of just about everything I can imagine, from overcharges, plan changes, plan features gone, bugs, glitches, etc. But in the end it all does get fixed.
