My daughter lost my phone and has no idea where it is. It's long dead, is there a way to tell where the SIM card was last pinged in order to track where it might be? Thanks.

Check all pockets and upholstery.
And vehicles under the seats etc.

It's a Samsung Galaxy GS4. Data wasn't on. It's stone dead as far as I know (it's been missing since Tuesday and now is Saturday). According to Google "find my device", it pinged on Thursday Morning at 410am. Since Data was off and it only knows my wifi password, that hopefully means it's in or near my house somehow.

What make of phone is it? Was the Data on or off? I do believe you won’t find anything about it if battery is dead. Have you called it? Some phone tracking apps may tell you where it’s last known position was.

@bksalmon is it a google phone? If it is then google will show you where it was last if the phone is dead. It may also revive it to one last ring. I had this with one of my devices and it was buried in the garage in some junk and was able to ring 3 or 4 times then completely died lol.

@bksalmon I would call Telus and ask them. it'll be more convenient than talking through a private message system
