Phyical SIM Card

DavidChou

Hello,

I have eSIM on my phone and want to replace it by the physical SIM card.  I want to confirm that physical SIM card is not phone-specific, right? In other words I can put it on any phone if I want.  Please confirm.

Also, can I order the physical SIM online or I have to go to the store to buy it? can the transfer be done (from eSIM to physical SIM) online or I have to do it in a public mobile store?

Regards,

David

Once you have your new SIM. Login to your account then go to Account tab>Change Your SIM Card.

You have to do it online yourself through the Profile tab.

There are no stores that support Public Mobile service. You can purchase the SIM card from a Telus/Koodo/mobile Klink store, but they can't help you to change it. It's best to buy it there if they sell it $10+. Or from Amazon for $5+.

You can purchase it from the public mobile site directly, it it can take up to 10 days to receive it.

SIM cards can be used in any phone.

Correct, physical SIM is device independent and beauty is you can pull it out and stick it in any phone you want to test or like.

If you can find PM SIM at the store - get it right away.
You can order it from PM but it might take a long time to get it. Read this forum and see how people complain waiting forever to get it.
