Sunday May 30 - Phone working ok.

Monday May 31- three phones in the household could not connect to the network. I tried to call the person standing next to me and it did not connect. Texts took over 5 minutes to get delivered.

Tuesday Jun 1 - Same issue as previous day.

Wednesday Jun 2 - One call connect early in the morning. Now nothing again??????

@Run_BFP All three Public Mobile phones having the same issues? That is weird, unless it is connected to a cell tower.

If there are no obvious issues - check for outages in your area: https://www.telus.com/en/on/outages

or https://downdetector.ca/status/telus/map/

I would ask the Moderators to see what could be up: https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/qc/get-help/articles/contact-a-moderator

In the meantime, do some trouble shooting with the three devices, and see if anything improves the service.

Try one or more of the below:

*turn off your phone, leave off for a minutes, then reboot

*removing your SIM for a few minutes, then reinserting it

*go into airplane mode for a few minutes, then going back to regular mode

*reset network settings

If I was smart enough to mark up your graphic I would, but its the furthest tower to the right of  the picture and halfway up the image. I am a little to the left side of the tower.

I am using an iPhone 11 and did look for the setting to force it to 3G, but still haven't found the setting.

A brief look at it , Maple Ridge has decent coverage

you might want to check the map yourself to see if you are close enough to Telus towers

Anything you try.  Try to force the network to 3G and see if you are receiving calls and if data is going through.

Been on Public Mobile for nearly 18 months on an unlimited plan for all that time.

Odd, I don't think there is a call time or text time limit on an unlimited plan? Do the phones get slower to the point of not working?

@Brighton98 : Nice job asking an activation question _and_ trying to help. There is no slow data feature here. Once out of a prepaid feature, the feature just stops.

Have you gone over your limit of data call time or text time if so it would be because your network gets slower after you go over your limit.

@Run_BFP  I guess you tried reboot all your phones?

Do you live in a city or you live a bit remote?  I wonder if it is related with cell towers

Also, there seems to be some outage now.. Markham, Ontario.  Any chance you are in the area?
