Need an admin to contact me about getting an old number back, will pay whatever it costs, my old number is currently out of loop and was originally ported over from another carrier. When a number goes back into the switch, does the number default back to the original carrier, or does it stay with the last carrier it was used on? No one from all major carriers can answer this question/ number does not show up on their directory.

If you stopped payment for more than 90 days. You are correct. The number will be returned to the carrier you originally got the number from. It is will be put on hold for 90 day. After the 90 days, it will be open for anyone who wants that number from that carrier. It will be very slim Taft you can get the number back but worth contacting the carrier you got the number from.

@codylambert It would go back to the original carrier it came from , but you can scroll thru the PM number pool in your account profile page . You can change you number 4x for free every 30 days
Change # on profile tabs
but to contact PM support you need to engage them private message
