I signed up for public mobile today and was charged for a months service. Is this the regular practice to pay for the service in advance?

@Caddyshack, the plan is prepaid. The billing cycle start from day one with payment. It is normal.

@Caddyshack yes, it is. PM is a Prepaid provider and it always charges you in the first day of cycle. So, this is normal
