Outgoing Text Images Issue

I have an ACER X008DC
Can receive incoming text images but unable to send outgoing text images. Can send outgoing texts without images with no issues.
Confirmed that my APN settings are correct.
Tried turning data on and off with no luck. Tried WIFI no luck.

I switched from Rogers a month ago and never had any issues until I came to PM. Brought my existing phone over with me.  I just signed up on the current Public Mobile $15 plan.

Any suggestions?

@Domino1- Not at all. That's for data. Does your data otherwise work? I forgot to tag you in my previous response.

I changed the lower case mb to uppercase MB will that help

You likely need to turn on SMS and maybe even MMS in your imessage app.

I figured out the problem with my APN settings. MMSC address I entered included "MB" uppercase instead of "mb" lower case. I didn't think it made a difference but apparently it does.

I always do the auto setup first by installing new SIM card, enable data and restart my phone to let provider to run the config script to configure APN settings.  This is great to avoid any typos.  This approach will work with phones which are sold in Canada by big 3.

@CannonFodder , @Jb456 's APN settings work for my Umidigi F1. I would say let's get a cellphone list of makes and models showing which of the 2 settings work with what. Who ever does it can start with my phone.

@BigBob1 , definitely recheck the APN setttings.  A tiny typo can affect connection to the MMS server.  Using WiFi does not help.  All MMS has to go through the MMS server.

When did you activate the SIM? And have you ever been able to do it? @BigBob1 try a soft reset. Turn your phone off, remove the battery for at minimum 45 seconds, replace, restart and try sending an mms message. Thanks.

And I've said it before, several times, but I'll repeat myself, yet again, if @Jb456  's settings don't work, edit those last two(the ones referring to MVNO) to be blank, and then THAT might work.

Does your data work?? You need to have your data on for MMS messages.

If it does not work either then it's an APN setting issue.

When you try to send a MMS what happens? Any error message or anything?

Can you post a screenshot of your APN settings??? So we can take a look??
