When making an outgoing call the cellphone disconnects too soon. As a result I never reach the voicemail of the number I am trying to reach.

Yes you could experience failure with this phone as it not on the "approved" list of pjone authorized by PM.
Please read more below to see if this could be what you are experiencing.
If it is, you might want to look into getting a new cell eventually as it will get worst.

@wickmac is this physical sim? Can you test the sim on another phone?
Or ask PM to refresh the account for you
Just open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA when login, you might need to use email to receive if you cannot receive the text on the phone.) Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen

Just one number that we know of - our landline. Other people can leave a message without a problem. Just we have a problem, when phoning from the cell.
No luck with restarting the phone.

Is this all phone numbers or just one?
Restart your phone and see if that helps.
