Not receiving text messages from PM

I am in limbo. Trying to port my phone number to Roger's. Roger's sends request to Public Mobile and indicates that I should be receiving a text message. No text message. So I try to log into Public Mobile account. 2-factor authentication does not work because no text ever received with 6-digit access code! Texts are not working. how do I fix this? The PM account is still active.

did you provide Rogers your PM's account number?  If you have just provide the IMEI, it might not work as IMEI is not a reliable way when requesting porting

Make sure your PM account is active and you can still receive incoming calls and text
Then call your new provider and ask them to re-trigger the porting request.
Wait another hour or two and you should receive the Porting Authorization Text from shortcode 4799 or 4800

If still not receive the text from PM asking you to approve the porting or if you cannot find the PM account number to provide Rogers,  please open ticket with PM support by direct message:   https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

Make sure that you respond to this text within 90 minutes. If you do not receive this SMS or you do not respond within the 90 minute window, make up to 4 additional attempts to send it. If you are still experiencing any difficulties, reach out to a Customer Support Agent
