I recently (two days ago) switched from Fido to Public Mobile, bringing my phone number with me. I thought the porting went through properly when I was able to call out, but it turns out I am unable to receive calls (goes straight to voicemail) and no sms are going through. I think this means the phone only did a partial porting. What is the solution to fix this so the phone works properly?

I went from a physical sim (Fido) to an Esim (PM), so I am not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Tried the recommendations, nothing successful. Looks like other people are having the exact same issue.
In my mind, the phone number has not been fully ported, and I don't know how to fix that. I bought a physical Sim, thinking that would do the trick, but still not receiving calls nor sending receiving texts. My voice mail seems to still be from my old carrier.
