Hi there,
I upgraded my plan to 5G on Jan 18 but I am not getting 5G since then. I thought it is all automatic.
Do I need to do anything to get 5G?
Thanks!

I would suggest you conduct a speed test on 4G. For some reason, Samsung phones are connected to 5G but is not showing on the phone.
Only way to check is to do a speed test.
Same reason why when I connect to public wifi, the S22 will show wifi6 but not on my S9… it only show wifi(5).

@cudieau , 5G speed plan is a marketing term that defines the speed cap of the plan. Otherwise all customers have access to the 5G/4G/3G networks regardless of which plan they are on. In order to connect to the 5G network, there needs to be 5G network availability in your area and your hardware must be compatible.

You just need a device capable of connecting to the 5G Network
Other than that, try going into your network connections and select 5G or 5G Auto if it is listed.
Sometimes resetting network connections also gets things going.
