I signed up today and cannot get signal in my home. I sent request to simply close account and no responses received. I realize its prepaid and can wait 90 days, however, would like everything closed off to ensure no further credit card billing.

Why are things so slow for simple requests?

Yes, area that does not have good coverage.  I wanted to at least try. Signal outside but not inside. I understand the 90 day, however, would like account closed out.

If you have service outside but not inside I wonder if a signal booster would work for you. Might be worth a shot

thanks to all of you for your suggestions and replies.

They did just finally reply and said they cannot close an account. They said same as you. Remove credit card informaton and wait 90 days.

Not sure if they can close the account, I assume so but we never know...

In all cases, I would definitively remove my credit card information as suggested!

Other way to close account is to port your number to another company, but I guess that's not something you want to do...

You can also try to sell/give your account to someone if you don't mind losing your number 😉

You can remove your credit card from your account to make sure you are not charged again.

Click on "My Account" (top right corner) and log in (or create an account). Then click on the "Payment" tab. Lastly click on "Manage Credit Card" and then remove you credit card.

How long has it been.  Response time to private messages is around 1-2 hours.  BTW, if you want to close the account, there's nothing to do.  Simply let the account to into suspension by not paying the renewal and it will close.  Before giving up on this service, are you located in a rural area not covered by Bell or Telus?
