I activated a $30/1G plan today at Walmart. I insert the SIM card and call is fine but I cannot connect to internet. Another thing is, I registered to self serve and found out that the promised $10 per month credit is not there> Next month's payment is still $28. What should I do? Thanks!

Try to reset network settings. Don’t forget to log back into any wifi after. It’ll kick you off your networks

Few things to try for data:
1. Reboot your phone
2. Check your APN Settings by visiting https://apn-canada.gishan.net/. Select the brand and model of your phone, scroll down the page and then select Public Mobile.
3. Network reset.
4. If you own LG phone, might need to do factory reset
You will get your $10 prior to your next payment date. Usually months 2-7 will get the $10 credit. If you signed up for friend referral, that also should appear within 72 hours.

@csongyuan, if you are having problems with mobile data, it is likely that the APN settings on the phone need to be set. How to set up the APN settings is covered in this knowledge base article.

With respect to the $10 x 6 credit, that won't show up right away. It shows up just before renewal time. See this announcement for details of when the credit is applied.
