I have updated my plan and paid for it but I do not have access to the data yet. It has been a few hours since I changed and paid for a different plan. I understand the changes should have taken into affect immediately.

Thank you, after rebooting my phone my data worked. That would be helpful to have on the website to avoid contacting customer support.

I ran out of data. I decided to upgrade my plan from 40$ to 45$ and clicked on change plan right away.
I still do not have access to my plan but my profile shows i have already paid and made the change. When I try to make the change again just in case it didn't work it tells me I already have the funds and that I already have that plan.

Hello @Alicia5 ,
It is recommended to "Change on next renewal date". It will automatically start the new plan when your plan renews.
I would not recommend "Change plan now", since you will be charged right away for the new plan and lose out on the $'s you already paid in your current cycle.
But if you need to update your plan right away, then ensure you have the available funds in your account.
EDIT: Reboot your phone after any of these changes to help to take affect.
