Neither my husband or I can place or receive calls, but everything else works. Anyone else?

I'm in Ontario. I can't make outgoing calls. I've tried a couple of numbers. When I try to connect a call, there is silence for a long moment, and then "call failed."

Called both the Alberta and Ontario numbers and same issue. Phone says "calling" with no dial tone and nothing happens

rebooted, issue persists

I appreciate the feedback but as this issue seems to be in other provinces and more of a broader network issue, I'm not going to wipe my network settings. I've called multiple numbers, and I've completed numerous reboots/restarts

we get that on the first call, but if you try the same number again after that call drops/ends we get the 22P1 error. funnily we can call each other though, and we're both on public mobile, and we were able to call a friend on public mobile in Ontario too... but we hit this issue trying to call the MILs rogers home phone line.

@overdriver

if you have a physical sim and you have another phone around, please try the sim card on another phone.

Also, do you have another phone you can test calling yourself to see if you can receive calls?

I already tried rebooting my phone and tried calling an actual phone number.

Resetting the network settings on an iPhone clears all WiFi networks, VPNs, etc, so that's not something I'm willing to do at the moment.

Similar issues with me in Newfoundland. I can receive and send text messages but can't receive or make calls.

@overdriver / @Shananahan79 / @michyNB / @MarkSquires

please try Reset network settings after a device reboot.  Please try calling different numbers (please note there is a problem with voicemail in Ontario)

if issue persists, open a ticket with PM Customer support.

We’re not getting errors. Just doesn’t ring and then call drops.

@Shananahan79

And are you in BC or QC?

both provinces have " Failure of wireless services for multiple locations" (Vancouver, Whistler, Kamloops, Surrey, Chateauguay, Kahnawake, Lery, Mercier, Saint-Constant, Saint-Remi)
Cause: Undetermined at this time / cable damage

Confirm if it is a network outage issue in your area:
