New activation - phone not working

Hi, I just wanted to share my experience when I newly activated my phone and it did not work. The phone, after following all instructions, must apparently be restarted to be able to function normally.

Hopefully this is helpful for the newcomer.

That restart of a device is a great go-to for many things. Glad all is working well now. 🙂

 

Other network issues can sometimes be solved with these methods also. Keep them in your backpocket:

*removing your SIM, then reinserting it

*go into airplane mode, then going back to regular mode

*reset network settings on your device

Also to @wimenp advise of rebooting your phone after activation. Remember to leave your old carrier SIM in the phone if you are porting your old number then wait for the SMS texting to confirm.
