I’m wondering if someone can help me why the credit card is not accepted for a payment. I had to change my credit card recently due to fraud. Kelly

Thanks for the information on the postal code. I will correct my script.

Clearly, that's just my opinion. I can only draw from my own experiences, although they may not all be based on Public Mobile. I use TD Bank and my statement has the space in the psotal code. I do not put space in my billing informaiton for payments to Public Mobile.

Enter your postal code without spaces unless there is a space on the credit card statement then enter the first 5 digits only with the space.

I disagree with this part and would say that the customer should never put a space in the postal code unless it's a troubleshooting step.  Canada Post addressing standards require capitalized letters and a space after the third character of the postal code. As such, every credit card statement that I've every seen  issued in Canada has always had that space. However, I have never entered a space, but have also never received had an address verification fail (at any company) by leaving the space out.  Most payment systems will not even have enough room to enter a postal code with a space.

Either way, this will be a moot point soon with upcoming changes that soon will not allow the user to insert a space as a character in postal code.

Usually, this is a matter of address check failure. There are some quirks with the Public Mobile system that cause some problems such as unit numbers being admited sometimes allowing payments to go through, but failing when entering a unit number.  It's important not to try muiltiple times because doing that can actually make the Public Mobile system lock your card out from use.

Clear your browser cache/history/cookies. Close browser and open a new browser in incognito/private mode. Also, you can try a different browser.

Enter the credit card address Exactly as it appears on your statement.

Leave the apartment field blank. If needed enter your apartment number in the street address field.

Edit: Removed text regarding postal code.

Note: The credit card will get locked after a few failed attempts. You will then have to contact a moderator for assistance to have it unlocked.
