My phone seems to have lost connection with the cellular network & my eSIM information is not in cellular settings.

I was referring to an eSIM from a different company.

@umnikke8 you can't just trade esims back and forth. Once the esim is used by PM on your account it can't be traded to a new phone. You would need to download a new esim if trying a new phone. A physical sim of course can be swapped out ad infinitum.

Could be something is wrong with the phone. If you haven't tried yet, be good to reboot, if that doesn't change things, reset the network settings. Beyond that, perhaps there is some other eSIM you try can installing from someone else, to see if the problem is with eSIMs in general or just the Public ones. Could also try to get a physical SIM if that is an option.

I have downloaded a new eSIM but it won’t install.

I don't know how a eSIM would go missing, that is very concerning. You certainly need a SIM of some kind to connect to the network. Search around and see if the eSIM is present somewhere and disabled. If you can't find or enable it, you'll need to acquire a new physical or eSIM and change your account to use it.
