Hello,
I am not a tech person, sorry to bother you guys.
I have picked a physical SIM of public mobile, now trying to port my number to public mobile. Store representative told me to be safe I have to get a new number first from public mobile then I have to port in my original number from Rogers.
but I couldn't find any steps to how to do that. I would really appreciate if someone could let me know the steps for that.

Hello.
Please note, you have to sign up via the public mobile app. And they were right. To be safe, once you sign up make sure everything works as it should.
Then once it does, then log into your account and port the number over. Here's a link to do so.
Also, you will need to have your Rogers sim card in your phone to accept the port request within 1.5 hours of you making it.
