Today I switched from Public Mobile to Freedom Mobile. It says I cannot switch the number because there is an issue with my Public Mobile account. I need my old number released immediately to Freedom from Public Mobile. Thanks

If your Public Mobile account is suspended (inactive), you'll need to reactivate it in order to complete the port to the new provider.
Recommend reactivating on the cheapest plan - the $15.00 one.
Then, place your Public Mobile SIM card back in your device, and request that Freedom reinitiate the port request from Public Mobile.

1. is this account still active?
2. Did you leave this sim in to confirm a text?
The rest is up to the new provider.
