Need Help Porting my number

I am attempting to port my number from Public to PC Mobile, but I have not yet received the confirmation message from Public. It has been over eight hours since the request was initiated. Could someone please assist me in expediting the release of this number?

@Aryan124 unfortunately it is an industry requirement to receive and reply Yes for porting authorization to avoid sim fraud.  You can check what the cheapest plan to change to instead of $40, or you can choose to resume another cycle and port out 25 days later.  There is really no workaround

My service plan concluded today, and I understand you are suggesting a new recharge is necessary to receive a single message for porting approval. I find it concerning to potentially incur a $40 charge solely for the purpose of receiving one text message to authorize the release of my number. I have already contacted PC Mobile support, and they confirmed that the porting request has been approved and the number is ready for release, pending action from Public Mobile. Could you please provide a direct contact number for support to expedite this approval, as I have not received a response to my previously submitted ticket?

Make sure your PM account is active and you can still receive incoming calls and text
Then call your new provider , PC Mobile, and ask them to re-trigger the porting request.
Wait another hour or two and you should receive the Porting Authorization Text from shortcode 4799 or 4800

If still not receive the text from PM asking you to approve the porting,  please open ticket with PM support using this direct link:  https://urlshortner.tiia.ai/Lc9xk8

Make sure that you respond to this text within 90 minutes. If you do not receive this SMS or you do not respond within the 90 minute window, make up to 4 additional attempts to send it. If you are still experiencing any difficulties, reach out to a Customer Support Agent
