My email has changed and Account cancellation

Hello. My account# 1000000xxxx.  I am currently locked out of my account. Also the  email to my account has changed. The current email on file is xxxxxx@shaw.ca

This email has been terminated

 

My new email is xxxxxxxxxxx@gmail.com

 

I also want to close out my account. Please contact me at this email : xxxxxxxxxxxx@gmail.com or by telephone 604-xxxxx

@ColinTeichrob  - you want to close your account and not keep the number, or do you want to port the phone number over to another provider?

 

An account in nonpay/suspended status for over 90 days or porting out to another provider closes your account here with Public Mobile.

 

If yo just want to stop paying and suspend for over 90 days to close your account call 611 from the device to remove autopay if a card is registered.

 

If you have enough funds to renew again then you can list your phone into lost /stolen status to go into suspended status..you do this through your self serve account.

 

Do you have access to your self serve account with the old email ? As long as you know the password..which sounds like you may have tried if you got locked out.

 

Since only CSA can change your email to your self serve account maybe get that sorted out first.

Only a CS_Agent can change your email address via private messaging (envelope icon) top of page or create a ticket via SIMon Chatbot bottom of page.

If you wish to take your number elsewhere then that would close the account. Or pause the credit card over the night of the next renewal. That will suspend the service. Then after 90 days it will fully deactivate.
